Word for 2015

THE ROAR OF THE LION!

The Lord also will roar from Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem;

The heavens and earth will shake; but the Lord will be a shelter for His people, and the strength of the children of Israel. (Joel 3:16).

2015 is the year where the revelation of the roar of the Lion will increase exponentially as the people of God release the high praises of God. The roars of the Lord will release shakings, shaking everything that can be shaken; this is good for us, because we want our lives to be built only on the solid ground of the Word of God. The demonic powers and principalities in the heavens will be shaken and dismantled through the high praises of the redeemed. The roar of the Lion will drive away our enemies, letting them know that the Lord is our shelter and our strength.

What lion is the Bible talking about? The Bible is referring to the Lion of Judah, the Lord Jesus Christ! Jesus came from the tribe of Judah; Judah means praise! Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of praise! He inhabits our praises (Psalm 22:3) and when we enthrone Him in our praises, the roar of the Lord will drive away our enemies. Often in the Bible, when Zion is mentioned, it refers to the mount where King David placed his 24-hour, 7 days a week, tabernacle of praise. It’s from the atmosphere of praise that the Lion roars.

Isaiah 31:4 says,

As a lion roars, and a young lion over his prey

(when a multitude of shepherds is summoned against him,

He will not be afraid of their voice nor be disturbed by their noise),

So the Lord of Hosts will come down to fight for Mount Zion and for its hill.

As the people of God gather together to praise the Lord, we will experience divine intervention as the Lord of Hosts shows up with His army of angels to fight for us!

What kind of praise does the Lord inhabit? He likes the high and wild, demonstrative, Davidic form of praise, which include shouting, dancing, twirling, clapping, jumping, singing, skipping and just about anything that demonstrates how awesome He is!

Make His praise glorious. (Psalm 66:2).

Do you want divine intervention in your life? Are you fed up with the lies, the abuse, the destruction and the bullying of the enemy? Learn to praise the Lord in the way He likes and He deserves, and you will experience the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13).

My friend and sister in the Lord was served foreclosure papers from the bank. For two years she thanked, praised and danced before the Lord, trusting in His goodness that her house would not be taken away by the bank, since this was an injustice. On October 9 (2014) her lawyer called her and told her that she would be going to court that morning. October 9th was the first day of the Feast of Tabernacles, and King Jesus prayer group had gathered together to praise the Lord. We danced, shouted, twirled before the Lord, giving Him the kind of praise that He deserves. That afternoon my friend’s lawyer called and it was VICTORY!

The judge dismissed the case and my friend is able to keep her home! Alleluia!

In mercy the throne will be established; and One will sit on it in truth,

In the tabernacle of David, judging and seeking justice and hastening righteousness. (Isaiah 16:5).

That’s right, in the atmosphere of the tabernacle of David, where the Lord is enthroned in our praises, justice and righteousness will flow for the redeemed. That’s what the Lord did for my friend!!! This is kingdom reality!

Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). This is what happens when He is enthroned in our praises. He comes to make wrong things right; the destruction of our enemies become a reality as the Lion starts to roar! On earth as it is in heaven! Thrones of iniquity are dismantled (Psalm 149); He shows up with healing in His wings (Malachi 4:2), releasing heavenly laser beams to heal sick bodies; there is fullness of joy (Psalm 16:11) destroying depression and hopelessness; His voice is released (Psalm 29:3) releasing revelation, wisdom and knowledge; doors of opportunity open up (Acts 16:26) for jobs and divine connections; freedom is released (2 Corinthians 3:17) for every area of captivity and bondage in our lives, including addictions; angels are released on our behalf (Hebrews 1:14) and in short, all the blessings of the kingdom are released for us when He is enthroned in our praises.

The prophet Isaiah says to sing to Him a new song, to praise Him, to lift up our voices, to sing, to shout, to give Him glory! (Isaiah 42:10-12). And as we do, The Lord shall go forth like a mighty man; He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war. He will cry out, yes, shout aloud; He shall prevail against His enemies. (Isaiah 42:13).

The high praises of God are a weapon of warfare. We are not battling against flesh and blood, but against demonic forces; this is why we need spiritual weapons!

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12).

I say it’s time for the roar of the Lion of Judah to be heard across the nations, releasing God’s government into every situation that is not aligned to His kingdom. People of God, WAKE UP! Let’s start using the weapon of praise and see our enemies under our feet. The Lion is waiting to ROAR!
