BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS!
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9).
There is no greater need at this hour than for God’s people to awaken to their destiny and purpose with strength and courage. This means walking by faith and taking risks, which most don’t like to do! But God says: Out of your comfort zone; break with the fear, the passivity and spectator mentality! It’s time to be salt and light in this dark world and take back the land stolen by the enemy!
“Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.” (Isaiah 60: 1-2).
We are in the midst of World War III; but it’s another kind of war. It’s bio warfare; it’s a battle of lies, deception and brainwashing by the news media, in cahoots with radical, liberal globalists that want to control the world’s population with fear. We are battling against demonic, anti-Christ ideologies like communism, socialism, CRT, transhumanism. We are living in the times of Isaiah 5,
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil…” (Isaiah 5:20).
To say there is mass confusion is an understatement! But here we are, God’s ekklesia, with great authority and power to destroy the works of the devil and enforce the victory of Calvary on earth as it is in heaven. Remember that Jesus already won the victory over the devil by the power of His blood! We have truth on our side to set the captives free! We have been given the authority and the power of the Holy Spirit for the mission. We have been given the keys to the Kingdom and the power to bind and loose. We are the determining factor in the nations, but we need to wake up!
Recently I heard the voice of the Lord say to me “Your only hope is an awakened Church.” This is something I already knew, but when I suddenly and unexpectedly heard Him say this, this revelation became even more real. God’s fire started to burn brighter and stronger in my heart!
“Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” (Ephesians 5:14).
So how does an awakened Church look like? We need to look at Jesus in the gospels, we need to study the Book of Acts. The Kingdom of God is a kingdom of glory and power and the ekklesia needs to manifest this in the midst of the darkness we are living in. I have some points to consider about what an awakened Church might look like:
-a Church on fire (Luke 12:49) (2 Timothy 1:6).
-a Church empowered with the baptism of the Holy Spirit that carries on with the works of Jesus (Luke 3:16) (John 14:12)).
-a Church that loves, honors and obeys God’s Word (Matthew 4:4) (Psalm 138:2b)
-a Church that proclaims the Gospel of the Kingdom and demonstrates its power with signs, wonders, miracles, healing, freedom, deliverance, bringing many o
ut of darkness into the light (Mark 16:15-18) (1 Corinthians 4:20).
-a fearless, unstoppable Church that hears the voice of God and walks by faith and great authority (2 Timothy 1:7) (John 10:27) (Luke 10:19)
-a Church that operates in holy boldness and proclaims the name of JESUS as the only Savior and Lord (Proverbs 28:1) (Acts 4: 12-13)).
-a Church that prays, intercedes, decrees and battles with great revelation to hit the target by releasing God’s will on earth (Jeremiah 33:3) (Job 22:28) (Proverbs 18:21) (Ephesians 6:12).
-a Church that praises and worships and knows how to change and shift the atmosphere! (Psalm 34:1-3) (Psalm 149).
-a Church that walks in the fear of the Lord with great wisdom and purity (Isaiah 11:3) (Psalm 111:10) (Proverbs 8:13).
-a Church that walks in unity, under the Lordship of Jes
us Christ (Psalm 133) (John 17:22).
-a Church that enjoys great favor with God and man (Proverbs 19:12b)(Proverbs 22:1).
-a giving, generous Church (Proverbs 3:7) (Acts 4:34).
-a Church that loves Jesus above all and is full of compassion for people (Matthew 22: 37-40) (1 Corinthians 13:13).
I believe these are some of the most important characteristics of an awakened Church. The Holy Spirit is raising such a people for such a time as this! A major awakening is already in the process. Don’t believe the lies of
the devil! We were created to be champions, to release His glory, to cut off the heads of the giants and to bring the nations to the feet of Jesus! There is no better time to be alive than now! The fields are so ready for harvest! People are desperate and looking for answers. They are everywhere and we are the ones that carry the answer! Apart from Jesus there is no salvation. It’s time to wake up! This is why you are alive! Be strong and courageous!
“But You have made me as strong as a wild bull. How refreshed I am by your power!” (Psalm 92:10)
LET’S PRAY: We thank you Lord that you have created us with a kingdom purpose! We thank you for the amazing plans and purpose
s you have for our lives. Today we break out of every demonic lie and stronghold we have believed and take authority over the fear, shame, confusion, demonic lies, double-mindedness and passivity; we bind them in Jesus’ name and command them to leave NOW! We ask You to baptize us afresh with Your Holy Spirit; we need your dunamis power to carry on with the works of Jesus. Give us vision for the mission, the boldness of a lion and the strength of a wild ox! Let every gift of the Holy Spirit be released as the rivers of living waters start flowing from deep within. We decree and declare that we are perfectly aligned with Your Kingdom, that we have the mind of Christ, that we hear God’s voice, that we are risk takers, that we are bold, fearless and unstoppable, that signs and wonders follow us everywhere we go! We decree and declare we have the heart of God filled with love and compassion for the
lost. In Jesus name we pray!!! Amen and Amen!
